The Washington Revels is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation, so donations to it are tax-deductible. All donations directly and solely benefit the Washington Revels. While we have ties with ten other Revels organizations nationwide, every Revels organization is completely independent financially.

Like most arts organizations, the Washington Revels cannot cover its operational expenses by ticket sales alone. We therefore depend on a circle of friends, businesses and foundation donors to supplement ticket revenues with critically needed support not only for our performances and community events but for our many outreach activities as well. Contributed income is a critical part of our budget. Without it Revels could not exist.

Your tax-deductible donation to Washington Revels is an investment not only in our activities, but in the life of the metropolitan DC community. Besides enriching the lives of participants and audiences alike, your gift enables us to build connections among people of diverse cultures, and to encourage appreciation of the expressive power of many different traditions through the joy of interactive communal celebration.

Corporate, foundation and individual sponsorships of Revels events range in price from $1,000 to $100,000, and offer varying levels of publicity and other benefits. Events open to sponsorship include:

• Our annual Spring Celebrations
• Our Community Sings and Festival Days
• Community Initiative Productions
• Our Washington Lawyers Committee Partnership program
• The annual Christmas Revels Outreach Performance
• Any one of our 8 regular Christmas Revels performances
• An entire Christmas Revels production (all 8 performances plus Outreach Performance)
